Student's Guide to Basic Multivariable Calculus by Karen Pao and Frederick Soon is recommended. A copy of it will be available at the Reserved Desk of Zimmerman Library. There will be ten homework assignments during the semester. Your homework will not be collected or graded. Instead, there will be a short, 15 minute quiz every Wednesday starting on September 2nd. Each quiz will include 2 short problems chosen from your homework assignment. There will be 10 quizzes during the semester. I will count the best 8 of them towards your grade. There will also be two midterm exams and a final. Your grade will be based on the quizzes, the mid-terms, and the final exam in the following way:
